Grace Unites

Galatians

In chapter 2 of Galatians, Paul continues to passionately defend the gospel of grace. He takes a sledgehammer to the divisions created between Jewish and Gentile believers because of false teaching from the Judaizers who insisted on bringing people back under the law. Satan was intimidating the new Church, bringing bondage, fear and disunity. Thousands of years later, his tactics haven't changed. The gospel of grace is the greatest weapon we have to defeat the enemy in our lives today!

From Series: "Galatians"

You've probably all heard it said, "If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is." A deal or an offer pops up and we feel like we've just been given an incredible offer of a lifetime...for about 15 seconds. Then something in our gut says, "Wait a second, that seems too good to be true...". And more times than not, we're exactly right. We begin our new summer sermon series: "By Grace Alone", a study of the book of Galatians. From the very beginning of the book, Paul calls out the people for "following a different way that pretends to be the Good News but is not the Good News." (1:7). Because being saved by grace (alone) through faith seemed too good to be true, the people couldn't believe it. How about you?
