Hope in Darkness

Brighter Still

The story of Jesus’ birth is full of remarkable activity – angels speaking to people, dreams that tell people what to do, events occurring that fulfill numerous Old Testament prophecies. At a time when the people were "living in darkness" (Matthew 4:16) - at just the right time - the long awaited Messiah is born just as the prophets foretold! As we rehearse the miraculous events surrounding Jesus’ birth, it gives us hope that God will overcome the darkness in our world again and again! The light He brings continue to shine brighter still even today!
