This Sunday will mark the ninth (& final) week of our teaching on the book of Galatians. In my opinion, this is a tremendously revealing letter. Many have said of Galatians that it is like a resplendent sword. Others have said (and I agree) that it is one of the hardest letters written by the apostle Paul. At the same time, however, it contains the most profound expressions of Grace and Liberty.

You've probably all heard it said, "If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is." A deal or an offer pops up and we feel like we've just been given an incredible offer of a lifetime...for about 15 seconds. Then something in our gut says, "Wait a second, that seems too good to be true...". And more times than not, we're exactly right. We begin our new summer sermon series: "By Grace Alone", a study of the book of Galatians. From the very beginning of the book, Paul calls out the people for "following a different way that pretends to be the Good News but is not the Good News." (1:7). Because being saved by grace (alone) through faith seemed too good to be true, the people couldn't believe it. How about you?
