Ever felt really confident about a significant decision only to have it turn out badly later on? Wisdom and discernment are precious commodities for all of us, not just church leaders. It seems so basic, yet still we easily (and quickly) neglect to look to God for guidance. As we continue studying the life Joshua, may we learn from his mistake and “lean not on our own understanding” (Prov. 3:5).
