Gentleness

“Be gentle”. We have all used this phrase at some point in our lives. We say it to a child holding a newborn baby. We say it to ourselves before a potentially challenging conversation. We’re reminded of its importance as we carefully carve designs into delicate pumpkins. Gentleness isn’t a characteristic that is often recognized, highlighted or celebrated. But it’s so important...and you’d probably agree that we could all use a little more of it! Join us for week 8 of our Locally Grown sermon series on the fruit of the Spirit - where we will discover: •the WHAT of Gentleness •the WHY it’s so critical and •the HOW we can walk more in this valuable fruit

From Series: "Locally Grown"

Locally Grown. Welcome to our new sermon series where we will teach on each of the fruits of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22-23. Love. Joy. Peace, Patience. Kindness. Goodness. Faithfulness. Gentleness. Self-Control. Could our world not use a little (a lot!) more of all of these right now?? As we allow the Holy Spirit full access to our lives, all of this fruit grows in us (doesn't get more local than that!) and then flows out of us. What's the condition of your fruit lately? The fruit of the Spirit. It. Is. Quality!
