Self-Control for Life

Of all the good things (fruits) God promises us as we walk with Him, self-control is likely to be low on our list of favorites. We see self-control as self-limiting and self-denying resulting in LESS LIFE. If we’re honest, we choose self-indulgence over self-control more times than not. But what if self-control was meant to be a fruit, a gift, a blessing that would lead us into all the other good ‘fruits’ God has for us? This Sunday, as we complete our 9-week Locally Grown sermon series, we'll focus on the last, but certainly not least, fruit of the Spirit: self-control.

From Series: "Locally Grown"

Locally Grown. Welcome to our new sermon series where we will teach on each of the fruits of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22-23. Love. Joy. Peace, Patience. Kindness. Goodness. Faithfulness. Gentleness. Self-Control. Could our world not use a little (a lot!) more of all of these right now?? As we allow the Holy Spirit full access to our lives, all of this fruit grows in us (doesn't get more local than that!) and then flows out of us. What's the condition of your fruit lately? The fruit of the Spirit. It. Is. Quality!
