Dr. Dan Backens is the senior pastor of New Life Church – a 5,000 member, multi-ethnic, multi-site church located in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. He serves as the senior director of One Focus Network. He writes and speaks on how to lead, build, and equip churches to be houses of prayer for all nations. He holds a Master of Arts in Church History and Renewal Theology from Regent University and a Doctorate of Worship Studies (DWS) from the Robert E. Webber Institute of Worship. Dan is happily married to Rhonda and together they have 3 adult children and eight grandchildren.
