The Welcome of The Compassionate Father
We were created to live under the protection, care and guidance of a very good father. That father is God. No matter how great our earthly fathers are- or were - they are a distant reflection of this perfect Father. No matter how horrible our earthly fathers are - or were - they cannot keep us from experiencing the love of the good Father. This Sunday, we’ll look at what this Father is like and what we are like when we allow ourselves to be adopted by Him. My prayer is that we might all find the greater freedom and joy that we are entitled to as we are welcomed into His home, His heart, His embrace.

From Series: "It's Better This Way"
Welcome to our new sermon series, “It’s Better This Way”. Over two thousand years ago, in some of the last moments that Jesus had with His disciples before being arrested, He told them “It is to your advantage that I go away”. Can you imagine the perplexed looks; the furrowed brows of the disciples as they heard Jesus say this? He then adds, “…for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.” (John 16:7). Who is this Helper that Jesus was referring to? Come join us this week as we introduce you to someone we’ll be getting to know better & more deeply over the next 6 weeks: the Holy Spirit.
