Believe: I Wonder If or The Wonder Of

Wonder

The birth of Jesus. A baby in a manger. Born to save the world. The Christmas Story. Without a doubt, Jesus is the main focus of this wonderful story. But there are plenty of others who get written about in Luke 1 & 2 as the account of Jesus' birth was told: Zechariah, Elizabeth, Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, the wise men, Simeon and Anna. Have you ever WONDERed if it was difficult for any of them to believe the news that was being relayed to them? Or do you think it was such a WONDERful event, that none of them doubted it for a second? As we head in to Week #2 of our Advent series, WONDER, we will look at the what it means to BELIEVE. In Luke's account of Jesus' birth, we find individuals who seem to ease into believing it all...and ones who don't. Can you relate? Perhaps there are promises you feel that God has given you and you are in awe of what He has said. But perhaps there are also some promises He has given you that you're thinking, "Hmmmmm..I wonder if that is really going to happen?" We wonder.
