Sending Churches

Go Out

As the book of Acts unfolds, the gospel message goes out from Jerusalem to other communities in Judea, Samaria, and beyond – even to Gentiles! Just like Jesus promised and commanded – “you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8, NLT). As the good news of the gospel spreads, a picture of churches sending out leaders develops. What kind of sending church are we today? What kind of sending church will we become?
