Rocktown Youth is made up of the middle and high school youth ministries of Grace Covenant Church in Harrisonburg, VA.
We’re in the process of making some updates and changes – stay tuned for more information, or contact Jenny with any questions!
The name comes from Matthew 7:24-25, which says: “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall because it had been founded on the rock.”
Our mission statement is simple: to create a fun atmosphere built upon the Word of God for the youth of GCC; to gather, grow, and go. This ministry creates a safe place for youth in grades 6 – 12 to cultivate community, grow deep in a relationship with Jesus, have opportunities to go out to serve our city and world and be empowered to share the gospel locally and globally.
