We are surrounded by God’s love and grace. His desire to rescue, defend, strengthen, promote, and be generous (the list goes on and on) is an outpouring of His great love for us. We don’t deserve it, but He can’t help it! Every believer knows “we are saved by grace” because we have faith in the greatest gift of God’s love, Jesus. But then what? Those times of hurt, struggle, fear, doubt, bad decisions etc. That’s when Jesus especially wants us to know He’s there. We feel like we are sinking and that’s when He will graciously grab hold and pull us to Himself.
