On Thursday of Holy Week, perhaps only hours before Roman soldiers would arrest him, Jesus spent the evening around a table with his disciples. He had been preparing them for his death, although they still don't get it. In his final "I AM" statement, Jesus explains to them how they will continue in relationship with him even after he's gone.
