Matthew grew up in Rockingham County as his parents moved to the area to attend Grace Covenant in the late 1980s. Matthew worked in construction and retail for a number of years before going to work for Broadway Metal Works. Grace Covenant has been Matthew’s church home his whole life. He married Kara who began attending while in college, and they live in Broadway with their two boys Jonathan and Andrew.
