Mike was raised on a farm in northern Pennsylvania and moved to Harrisonburg, VA in 1997. He and his wife, Mercy, have 3 children: Emmett, Jude, and Eva and they enjoy family life on their teeny farm in the country. Since joining Grace Covenant in 1998, (the year M and M were married) the people of Grace have become their family. In 2003, Mike left a career in business to join the staff at Grace, serving in different capacities with Missions, College Ministry and Small Group Ministry. In April 2015, he received his Masters of Divinity degree from Eastern Mennonite University with a specialization in Church and Mission. On September 10, 2022, after an 18-month preparatory process, Mike became the lead pastor of Grace Covenant. His passion is to see people experience the continually renewing life that only Jesus Christ can provide.
