Rebekah is married to John who she first met around age one in a playpen. Together they love and adore their many nieces, nephews, godchildren and their spoiled black cat.
Rebekah was born and raised on a farm just north of Harrisonburg, VA. Her earliest memory is crawling across a bouncing floor in the midst of a joyful GCC worship service. Growing up at Grace fostered a deep conviction that nothing is better than life with God. As the Next Gen Pastor, she is passionate about passing on this same wholehearted and joyful lifestyle of worship to the next generation of GCC.
In her spare time Rebekah loves goofing off with her big family, on both sides, (she is the oldest of 6), getting lost in a good book or BBC show, or enjoying nature with friends. Although she has deep roots in the valley, Rebekah loves to travel internationally and has seen more of other countries than her own.
Rebekah is also a trained florist, a former family mediator, and has a B.A in History from JMU. She thinks working with children is awesome and is humbled to be entrusted with such an important and precious group of people.
