Dependence & Delight
Over the next three Sundays, we’ll be focusing on a few of our core values here at Grace Covenant. This week we’ll be talking about worship. Worship is far more than 30 minutes of singing on a Sunday morning. Worship is an act and an attitude that we were created to live out & live in all day, every day. It seems to me that for King David, who wrote much of the book of Psalms, worship was a combination of dependence and delight. Whether we know it or not, we all center our lives around the things on which we depend and delight...and this is worship.

We're going to dig a little deeper into one of Grace Covenant's core values: worship (and we're talking way more than just 30 minutes of singing on a Sunday morning!). King David was a man after God's own heart & a true worshipper. He was a man who worshipped the One that he depended on & delighted in. The same challenge remains true for us: to keep our focus on The One who is more than worthy (and trustworthy!) to depend on and who is The Ultimate Source of delight.
