But have any of us taken a long trip without really knowing where our final destination was? The wise men are traveling a long distance, guided by a star, and resort to asking for directions in Jerusalem. From our place and perspective, Magi arriving with gifts for Jesus is another chapter in the heart-warming Christmas story. Let’s open our hearts and ask the Lord to give us eyes to see this pilgrimage the way the wise men experienced it.
