You don’t need to teach a two-year-old to resist his or her parents. It comes easily. They’re great at it from birth! Rebellion and resistance to authority, truth, and rules is easy for us because we believe we know better than the authority, truth, and rules. But what if the truth was meant for our well-being? What if the statement: to be true is to be kind, WAS TRUE? This Sunday, we’ll review the statement of Jesus: “I am the way and the truth and the life.” And we’ll see how there is no greater love available than this.
