Join Us in Prayer for the Future!!

GCC has a rich history where the favor and blessing of God has been evident. Looking back over nearly 40 years, we are in awe of all God has accomplished in and through us and we face the future with great expectancy.

Through several dreams, lots of prayer and a new hunger stirring in our spirits it’s become clear that God is leading us into a new season of vision discovery for Grace Covenant.   The following two passages have been fueling our prayers in this season:

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:18-19

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people. Ephesians 1:18-19

In March 2024, a group of leaders met together to launch this process.  In April, we gathered the input of the church through a giant engagement wall in our sanctuary.   In May, leaders gathered again looking to the Lord for his will in all of this and to begin the development of a multi-year strategic plan that will impact all aspects of life at Grace including our services, our ministries and our facilities.  Our goal is to have a clear vision and plan by January 2025.

Our primary request from you (who have taken the time to read this!) is to invite you to pray for God’s vision to become our vision, for the clarity of Christ to become our clarity, for the kingdom of God to be done on earth, through Grace Covenant, as it is in heaven.

Updates on progress with this vision process can be found on our website and will be linked to our weekly email newsletter we call Grace Life. (click here to receive Grace Life).   We are excited to see where the Lord leads and thrilled to have each of you as partners in the adventure.
